McLaren Trefanenko joining ‘mindful revolution’

Providing mindfulness training to all employees within organization

McLaren Trefanenko is offering online mindfulness training to all employees and their buddies to support mental health, improve resilience and enhance workplace wellness. In January, the organization is launching the evidence-based 30 Day Mindfulness Challenge.

“It’s a dynamic, face-paced environment at McLaren Trefanenko so we want to support our team as much as possible,” says Yen Hung, Office Manager. “We’re pleased to bring the benefits of mindfulness to the organization as it dovetails nicely with our ongoing commitment to employee mental health.”

The 30 Day Mindfulness Challenge has been used at the Mental Health Commission of Canada, UBC, WestJet, Coca-Cola, Harvard Law School and more because it’s proven by Sauder School of Business to lower stress, increase resilience, improve teamwork, and strengthen leadership skills. The Challenge also teaches ‘mindfulness-in-action’ so people don’t need to stop what they are doing to become calmer, present and focused, all of which leads to a safer work environment.
