The McLaren Trefanenko Inc. Client Portal is a place where you can instantly access your financial documents and send or receive documents to or from us.
By voluntarily registering and using the Client Portal, you are agreeing to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions of use. Please read the following terms and conditions carefully. If you do not agree with these terms and conditions, you should not use the Client Portal. The terms “us” or “we” or “our” refers to McLaren Trefanenko Inc. The terms “you” or “yours” refers to the registered user or viewer of our Client Portal. “You” may be our client, or an authorized user of our client.
This Client Portal (the “Client Portal”) is provided by us for your benefit. By entering the Client Portal, you agree to abide by the following terms and conditions of use. We reserve the right to modify or amend these terms and conditions at any time.
McLaren Trefanenko Inc. hosts the Client Portal where you can securely access important financial and other documents.
By accessing the Client Portal, you agree to comply with the terms and conditions set forth herein. You will be granted a User ID and Password for access to the Client Portal. You agree that your User ID and Password is only for your personal use, and you will not permit anyone else to use your User ID and Password. You are responsible for all access to the Client Portal through your User ID and Password. If you believe that another party has gained access to your User ID and Password, you must inform us immediately. You may not transfer your User ID and Password to anyone else.
We reserve the right to suspend user privileges and block access of any user who violates these Terms and Conditions.
Upon request, users may be granted the right to add additional users such as bankers, lawyers, etc., who will be given a unique User ID and Password. We reserve the right to approve all users, and block the access of individual additional users.
It is your responsibility to remove additional users from the system if you terminate your business relationship with them, or no longer wish them to have access to your documents. We shall not be held liable for allowing access to your confidential files by users that you have authorized.
1. General
Your User ID and Password only allows you to view materials related to your relationship with us, and provides no ability to view materials for any other party. You shall not attempt to access or view materials for any other party. If for any reason you obtain access to any materials not related to your relationship with McLaren Trefanenko Inc., you shall inform us immediately at [email protected] and refrain from viewing or downloading such materials.
2. Viewing and Downloading
You have the ability to view and download documents from the Client Portal. You and your authorized users are responsible for maintaining the appropriate level of confidentiality for materials that have been downloaded from the Client Portal. We are not responsible for the security of any material that you or your authorized users download from the Client Portal.

Uploading of documents
You have the ability to securely upload documents from your computer
to the Client Portal. Documents that you upload will be available to us,
and to your authorized users. We use automated processes to protect our Client
Portal from viruses and malicious files. Occasionally files may be
removed from our system if our software deems them to be malicious. We
shall not be held liable for the removal of files that you have uploaded, even
if the file involved contained no malicious code.
The Client Portal uses industry standard security protection to protect against unauthorized access, including firewall protection. We may change or enhance the security protection without notice to you. You shall not attempt to disable or circumvent any security features on the Client Portal.
You recognize that using the Client Portal is not without risk as no completely secure system exists for the electronic transmission and storage of confidential information.
Although the connection between your computer and our servers is encrypted and secure, we cannot control the files that are stored on your computer. Please be aware that files downloaded and uploaded from your computer may continue to exist in files on the computer’s hard drive. Please be especially cautious about uploading or downloading sensitive documents on public computers.
You may terminate your access privilege to the Client Portal at any time by providing written or email notice to McLaren Trefanenko Inc. at [email protected]. We also reserve the right to terminate your registration and/or access to the Client Portal at any time without notice.
Access to the Client Portal and its content, products and services are provided “as is”. We do not make any warranties or representations, expressed or implied, concerning the merchantability, quality, non infringement or fitness for a particular purpose of the Client Portal or its content. You assume all risk of use. No warranty is given that the services will be error-free, free of viruses or uninterrupted. We are not responsible for invalid destinations and transmission errors in, corruption of, or the security of information carried over telecommunications carriers’ or other providers’ facilities. We have no liability for faulty or interrupted communication links. Portions of the news content of the Client Portal may be provided by third parties, which we have no control over, and have no liability for any such content.
McLaren Trefanenko Inc. shall not be liable to you or any third party for any direct, special, indirect, consequential or incidental damages incurred arising out of the use or the inability to use the Client Portal, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damage or loss.
The Client Portal is licensed by McLaren Trefanenko Inc. Elements of the Client Portal are also protected by trademark, copyright and other laws.
These terms and conditions shall be construed according to the Laws of the Province of British Columbia.
In the event that any legal proceedings are commenced in any court with respect to any matter arising under these terms and conditions, the parties hereto specifically consent and agree that the courts of British Columbia shall have jurisdiction over each of the parties hereto and over the subject matter of any such proceedings, and the venue of any such action shall be in Greater Vancouver.
